Autocad list command to text file

I thought there was a variable to control how many line of text goes to the textscreen but I can't seem to find it. Go to Solution. Solved by pbejse. The allowable range is between 25 lines and lines. If you try to set a value outside that range, it will default to the last used length. This new value gets saved to the current profile. If you want to find out the current history length, you can type the following: Command: getenv "CmdHistLines" "". Note that "CmdHistLines" is case-sensitive and must be entered that way.

Also, the length value must be included within quotes as shown. I wonder? I guess they mean you can manually do that. The only thing I can think of to suggest is to write the equivalent routine so you can totally control it Aligns text from the horizontal center of the baseline, which you specify with a point. The rotation angle specifies the orientation of the text baseline with respect to the center point.

You can designate the angle by specifying a point. The text baseline runs from the start point toward the specified point.

If you specify a point to the left of the center point, the text is drawn upside down. Right-justifies the text at the baseline, which you specify with a point.

Specifies both text height and text orientation by designating the endpoints of the baseline. The size of the characters adjusts in proportion to their height. The longer the text string, the shorter the characters. Aligns text at the horizontal center of the baseline and the vertical center of the height you specify. Middle-aligned text does not rest on the baseline. The Middle option differs from the MC option in that it uses the midpoint of all text, including descenders.

The MC option uses the midpoint of the height of uppercase letters. Is zero tabs for "Print this" or Save this as.. Going on here I think we got a case of wrong coordinates going on here and I do not plan on being in the office for a few days now. In the drop-down menu I select Copy. Print it out or email it. Open the log file with Notepad and edit it if needed.

Save the changes and send the file, or print it. I cannot highlight anything. Thus cannot paste anything. The logfilemode lsp software seems to work OK, but I never get prompted as to any file name, nor does it create one or save to one. I then presume it would get filled up with whatever got printed off in LIST mode. To insert another drawing as a block, follow these steps: Open the Insert dialog box as just described and click the Browse button.

For example, you may have created blocks as individual drawings which are part of a block library. Navigate to the drawing, select it. To insert a block, follow these steps:.

If all objects in the block definition reside on one layer, you should usually insert the block on that layer. If the block geometry spans several layers, choose a suitable one to insert the block on.

For example, a block that shows a gearbox made of geometry on layers named Casing, Armature, Shaft, and Fasteners, for example, would be inserted on a Motors layer.

Use the Name drop-down list to select from a list of block definitions in the current drawing. Browse to any existing drawing and insert it into the current drawing to create a new block definition within the host drawing.

The new definition retains no connection to the inserted drawing.
