Improving AutoCAD performance with older or low-end graphics cards Enable or disable Hardware Acceleration In some scenarios, the Hardware Acceleration setting may be disabled or may need to be disabled.

How to enable or disable hardware acceleration in AutoCAD The driver for the graphics card may be corrupt or outdated Updating your current video driver to the latest driver available can correct problems with your graphics.

Message 1 of We have several groups of block reference objects in a drawing. Each group of objects is grouped using the AutoCAD object grouping feature and each group is named uniquely. When you moved the cursor off the group member object, the highlighting would clear ie all objects become as normal unhighlighted. With AutoCAD there seems to be a bug or a change in behaviour. Now when you move the cursor over an object in the group, all the members become highlighted as before, but now when you move the cursor off the object the selection does not always clear.

Sometimes the selection persists. If the selection persists, you cannot even clear the group selection by pressing the escape key to clear the selection. The group selection persists. The problem occurs irrespective of whether our drawings are launched directly in AutoACD or within our VBA app, hence the post to this group.

Please can you help? Has anyone else had this problem? I've attached a screenshot jpg. Message 2 of Works fine here: your R installations' video card drivers are not refreshing in time and can't seem to keep up.

Try updated drivers. Message 3 of Hi Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think it can be that, though, because even though one group selection is stuck ie persisting, I can still select other objects as normal only the first group selection wont go away.

Message 4 of After you update the drivers, let us know what is happening Black A little song, a little dance A little seltzer down your pants Message 5 of Can you think of any setting I could try to change in Manual Performance Tune which might be causing this?
